Our Winter Olympics continued this afternoon with shuffleboard! The residents had a strong competitive spirit as they rolled the pucks to score on one another! Here, we see one of our residents, Deborah Thomas, ready to launch her puck!

This week, the 200-Hall team pushed ahead of the 100/300-Hall team after three friendly rounds of play. The games conclude next Thursday with Hockey! Another fun and fantastic competition!

February is National

Did you know that February isn’t just about Valentine’s Day? It’s also American Heart Month, and this week is Heart Failure Awareness Week. ❤️

Heart failure doesn't mean the heart has stopped working—it means it isn't pumping as well as it should. Understanding the "Faces" of heart failure can save lives. Look out for the F.A.C.E.S. symptoms: Fatigue - Activity limitation - Congestion (coughing/wheezing) - Edema (swelling in ankles/legs) - Shortness of breath

Knowledge is power. This month, let’s commit to listening to our bodies and be heart healthy!
